A friend recommended to me that I check out SwagBucks.com and I just signed up today. If you haven’t heard of this site I thought I’d share. SwagBucks is primarily a search engine and shopping portal that rewards you using the site with “SwagBucks”.

These points can be redeemed for products in their store or (and this is how to get fitness gear) Amazon.com e-gift cards. Other prizes in the Swag Store that may be of interest to fitness-minded individuals:

• MP3 singles and albums from a variety of artists
• Gift cards for iTunes, Barnes & Nobles, Target and more
• MP3 music players (iPod, Zune)

Getting used to the search results (powered they say by Google and Ask.com) may take some time. The first searches I’ve done with the SwagBucks toolbar have returned relevent results though so I’m not too worried.
